WeChat Pay MY is the mobile payment solution in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) designed for Malaysian users. It was awarded an e-money license by Bank Negara Malaysia in 2017. Apart from online expenditure such as giving out red packets, money transfer, mobile service top-ups and buying tickets, it also supports offline transactions at supermarkets, convenience stores, fast food restaurants and the like.
